Due to the custom nature of wallpaper and artwork, all orders sales are final. No returns and/or refunds allowed unless a manufacturer defect has occurred. You have 5 days from acceptance of delivery to note a manufacturer defect.

Wallpaper orders for samples or full yardage will not be placed until payment is received in full.

Methods of payment:

Checks (Allow up to 72-hours for order processing). A service charge of $50 will be assessed for every returned check.

By providing MaryCobbDesign with a credit card number, Customer authorizes MaryCobbDesign to charge the card for all future charges.

Collection fees and or attorney's fees incurred by the company in collecting payments are the responsibility of the customer and must be repaid in full to MaryCobbDesign prior to resuming business.

Personal information provided to the company will not be shared with a third party.

Title to and ownership of the relevant goods remain the absolute and unencumbered property of MaryCobbDesign until payment in full is received.

Items sold by MaryCobbDesign and shipped to anywhere in the District of Columbia are subject to District of Columbia Sales Tax.

Because wallpaper color varies between lots, we do not guarantee that the colors will be exactly the same between orders.

Our materials are not guaranteed against color fading. They are not guaranteed against shrinkage or discoloration due to washing or contact with any liquid.

All orders are subject to stock availability.
PROCESSING AND SHIPPING TIMES

Wallpaper samples will be shipped to you within 2 weeks. Full wallpaper orders (yardage) will ship to you within 4-5 weeks. The processing time may be different for each item. To calculate the estimated arrival date, add the processing time and the shipping time, and remember to skip weekends and holidays.

Each order will ship when ready. Therefore, you may receive your order in two or more separate deliveries.

Shipping charges are included for all orders within the U.S.

If a freight forwarder, hotel, office building, contractor, sub-contractor, upholsterer, workroom or hand-carrying is used, the following terms will apply:

It is the responsibility of the customer to insure that the correct material is received.

MaryCobbDesign won't be responsible for damage, defect, material difference, or loss that occurs to goods after they're delivered to you or a freight forwarder. This means that MaryCobbDesign isn't able to provide a replacement of, or refund for, any such goods delivered to you or a freight forwarder. You should refuse goods that arrive damaged and instruct freight forwarders to do the same, and goods lost after being received by you or the freight forwarder will be your responsibility.

If you (or a freight forwarder you so designate) have a U.S. address, purchase goods from MaryCobbDesign to be shipped to a U.S. location, and then subsequently export the goods, you or the designated freight forwarder are considered the exporter and are solely responsible for compliance with all export and import regulations, including all U.S. export regulations and the import regulations of the destination country. MaryCobbDesign must not be listed on any export documentation (e.g., export declarations, invoices, packing lists, air waybills, etc.). It is your responsibility to ensure the freight forwarder's most up-to-date U.S. address is used.

- For international shipments:
- When ordering from MaryCobbDesign, you're responsible for assuring the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country.

The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country.

Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and can't predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information.

When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Prohibited destinations. The U.S. holds complete embargoes against North Korea, Sudan, and Syria. The exportation, re-exportation, sale or supply, directly or indirectly, from the United States, or by a U.S. person wherever located, of any goods or services to any of these countries is strictly prohibited without prior authorization by the U.S. Government.

We will store your order for 30 days free of charge, a $150/month fee will apply after 30 days.
LABOR, INSTALLATIONS, AND REMOVALS

Projects not performed by MaryCobbDesign are not guaranteed.

Any claims for manufacture defect cannot be processed after installation, unless the defect could not reasonably have been noticed until the hanging.

No claims will be allowed for labor costs.
-
Measurements provided by customer are not guaranteed.
-
Installation charges may vary depending on the amount you were quoted vs. the total amount installed.

Secured Premises (Condominiums and Gated Communities). Please check with your building management for parking accessibility and delivery times for your installation (such as elevators, service entrances, front desk procedures, etc.). Please inform us if there are special parking needs.

If you have any issues with your installation date and need to reschedule, call your store as soon as possible in order to not incur any additional cancellation charges. There will be a $250 penalty fee for any appointment for installation canceled.

Painting and Construction (for newly constructed rooms/houses). Be sure all construction is completely closed in with drywall, plaster finish and paint-ready. Allow one week for freshly painted areas to dry and cure before the wallcovering installation date.

Wallcovering installation is a decoration process which is customized to fit the style of your home. As in any decoration process, there is always a chance of unforeseen issues. Some issues cannot be detected until the installation process has begun (i.e. moisture damage, walls with structural damage, etc). If unforeseen issues are discovered upon the removal of current wallcovering, a Change Order may be required and additional charges may apply to the installation.

Adhesives used for the installation can produce strong odors. It may be necessary to ventilate your home after the installation
-
Changing your air filters is an important follow-up to your installation.
-
Removal of Existing Wallcovering. If you have elected not to have the installers remove your existing wallcovering, you must have this done before the installation (please call us if you wish to add this service).

An adult over 18 years of age with the authority to make decisions must be present at the time of installation.
-
Please remove all fixtures such as sculptures, art work, TV, mirrors and heavy furniture in order to make the installation process smooth and efficient.
-
The day of the installation you will be provided with an installation approval form for you to fill out and approve the job that has been done.

On-time arrivals. While we strive for punctuality, there might be occasions when our installers will get to the job site at a later time than originally agreed. Please contact the showroom immediately if 15 minutes have passed and our installer has not contacted you.
LEGAL
- Indemnification and Liability of Customer: You agree that you shall be responsible for and shall defend, indemnity, and hold harmless MaryCobbDesign and its employees, affiliates, supplires, agents, contractors, distributors, licensors, and business partners and shall reimburse MaryCobbDesign for any damages, losses, or expenses (including without limitation reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) incurred by MaryCobbDesign in connection with any claims, suits, judgments, and causes of action arising out of your breach of any provision of this agreement.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All material on the Website (drawings, designs, illustrations, photographs, written text, logos, trademarks, and all other intellectual property of any nature) are the exclusive property of MaryCobbDesign. You may not reproduce by any means or process (except as expressly provided herein), in full or in part, distribute, publish, transmit, create derivative works based on, modify or sell any such material contained on the Website.
The MaryCobbDesign trademark--thick black lettering--and all other MaryCobbDesign related marks and logos, whether or not registered, displayed on the Website, as well as the domain name "marycobbdesign.com," are and will remain the exclusive property of MaryCobbDesign. Any reproduction, distribution, transmission, modification or use of these trademarks for any purpose without prior, express agreement of MaryCobbDesign is prohibited.
You may not remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice contained on the Website or any content contained therein.
