ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mary is a self-taught artist, corporate attorney, and certified yoga instructor. She obtained her B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University, and her law degree from U.C. Hastings College of Law. As an artist, she is inspired by the works of Gerhard Richter, Bridget Riley, and Eduardo Stupia. Her works include rich layers of texture, intricate pen and ink designs, and plays across black and white. Mary's artwork has been exhibited in Rome, Italy, the Berkshires, Washington D.C., and resides in private collections across Europe and the United States. Her most recent exhibitions include D.C.'s UMBRELLA exhibit, and a commissioned mural in Georgetown's prominent cocktail bar, 'L'Annexe.'
